The children planted moong and methi, watched them sprout on the classroom shelf and wrote little observation journals as we closed out the summer term.
Earth week · Apr 20 to 24
A full week of nature work — sorting leaves, identifying birdcalls in the garden, and a gentle conversation about water at home. The children made little promise cards to take back with them.
Sprouting shelf
Moong, methi and chana sprouted on the classroom shelf over ten days. Each child kept an observation journal with small drawings — a quiet first taste of the scientific method.
Closing the summer term
We wrapped up with a soft farewell circle, a song the children chose themselves, and a thank-you note to the helpers who keep the campus running.
With warmth,
Parul & the Joining Dots team
